Needs assessment, curriculum development, and program evaluation are essential parts of the PDCA cycle. Research in this area benefits all educators, including pre-service teachers. Through the ongoing development of reliable evaluation methods, the English language curriculum at Kurume University will continue to improve and serve to inform other language curriculum in Japan.
  • 大学がDEI(Diversity, equity, and inclusion)実践への意識を高めるにつれ、大学等における女性のリーダーシップの機会も増えていくはずです。 As universities increase their awareness of DEI (Diversity, equity, and inclusion) practices, the opportunities for women’s leadership in academia should also show an increase. Through research and presentations in women’s academic leadership and the development of mentoring programs for women, I hope to contribute to the continued support of the DEI momentum.
