久留米大学医学部薬理学講座では、モノアミンを中心とした中枢神経伝達、神経精神疾患に関する研究を行っています。中枢神経伝達に関する生化学的研究では、DARPP-32リン酸化を介するドーパミンシグナル解析を中心に行い、ドーパミンによる神経精神機能調節メカニズムの解明を目指しています。
